If you are a non-EEA national looking to study in the UK, you may need a Student visa. The requirements depend on the course, education provider, length of study and your circumstances.

Longer courses generally require a Student route application supported by a licensed education provider. Short courses may fall under different visitor rules. The former Tier 4 and Student Visitor categories mentioned in older versions of the site have been replaced or changed.
