Fiance(e) Visa

This immigration category allows you to enter the UK if you are the fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner of a British citizen or a person who is settled here. You must intend to marry or register your civil partnership within six months of arrival and settle here together afterwards.

The requirements are similar to those for married couples or civil partners. Applicants need to demonstrate that the relationship is genuine and that the relevant financial, accommodation and other requirements are met.
